That looks stunning! What size is your wrist? Also, do you have a part # for the strap and/or clasp?
It's a 19 mm x 16 mm strap for an earlier edition of the CK2998. Omega CWZ003833. It is a gray-blue color, not black. Similar to Silver Snoopy Award strap and is most likely made by Jean Rousseau for Omega. The 16 mm deployment clasp is Omega 94521633. There is also a 16mm Omega 94521613. I asked the OB for satin but got polished, go figure. My wrist is 7.25". I tried the strap and clasp on a Speedmaster 60th Anniversary in the photos earlier in the thread.

You only need to look at the first post about these here to realise that you are not alone 馃榿

Not wanting to piss on anyone's parade either, enjoy your watches everyone! 馃憤

I still struggle with the 12 and Omega logo/text being of centre with each other(could have done with a more squashed number 2, that sounds kinda discusting馃槻) it hurts my eyes!

Other than that I really like it, but I do have quirky taste.

This thread needs more photos of the watch! Straps, lighting, lume, steering wheels, sandals, all of it, lets go!

Your wish is my command!

Some photos throughout the day yesterday:

I had ordered a grey suede short strap from Bulang & Sons that arrived yesterday, so I swapped it on at night (note that this is identical to the suede strap that Hodinkee sells, as B&S and Hodinkee use the same supplier). They only had the 20mm in stock, but it fit the 19mm lugs perfectly:

I swapped out the B&S buckle for the Omega buckle from the OEM leather strap that came with the H10:

And another lume shot, this time in the dark:

Another day, another strap. Here it is on Hodinkee鈥檚 Reid strap in slate grey. I had this strap lying around from another watch and decided to try it on. It鈥檚 a 20mm strap - this one I had to squeeze a bit to fit it within the 19mm lugs, but it worked (it鈥檚 a bit fiddly to take off, though). This might be my favorite look so far.

You are the only person to report receiving one of the 500 pieces in the Ltd Edition! Are you willing to give us a hint on its number?

Maybe some other Forum Members will let us know about their arrivals.

My number is in the high 200鈥檚, strangely enough! I ordered 3 minutes after the order page went live on Hodinkee鈥檚 website.

I鈥檓 in the high 40鈥檚. A few iPhone shots, and one of it joining its other Speedy buddies

Nice shots! It looks pretty good on the stock Omega strap, I must say - makes me kind of bummed that it鈥檚 too big on me. Maybe I鈥檒l look into getting a couple extra holes punched after all.

Beautiful! Can we get some shots with the omega nato? Maybe a light brown/cognac strap as well?

Amazing photos! Thank you so much for sharing. This is definitely the first 2998-style-watch that I've really liked. Love the playful colors. And the lume is ridiculous!

To be honest, as I was waiting for this one to come in I kept debating canceling it. I'd overanalyze the photos of it, and question some of the little details that might bother me. After seeing it in person, I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. Like you said, it's playful, and has a lot of character, (and is very different than the rest of my watches).

Sure, there are things I would change if I designed it, but overall I'm really happy with the purchase.

Congrats! I remember my local OB called me for reservation for the piece but I had to pass because I just purchased ST2 and did not like the design of Hodinkee edition. But it's definitely collective for speedy fans!

Still waiting for mine. I think I remember purchasing on Hodinkee鈥檚 site within 5 minutes of it going live...
