There were heaps of negative comments when this model was announced. Will be interesting to see what happens on this thread as others show up in the wild.

You鈥檙e not pissing on the parade at all! My own tastes trend toward the eclectic and polarizing end of the spectrum, so I鈥檓 well aware that I like plenty of things that others don鈥檛 like - it鈥檇 be crazy to assume that a design like this could win over everyone. That鈥檚 the beauty of this hobby, plenty of stuff out there to suit everyone鈥檚 tastes!

I'll contend that pretty much every watch in my collection looks better on a Hodinkee strap. Well done!

Davenport strap length/holes vs. the length/hole position of the Omega strap:
Lovely watch - if you are interested in wearing it on the Omega strap, I would suggest punching another set of holes to fit your wrist.

Although I have yet to do it to a watch band, I have seen others with additional homes. I have a belt punch that has a wheel with various sized punches. I鈥檓 sure there is numerous ways to get a hole in the right spot if you are wanting to wear it in the Omega strap.

Thanks! Yes, I鈥檓 considering punching some extra holes, but I鈥檝e had it done with some other watch straps and somehow the newly punched holes never end up looking quite as clean as the original holes. Also, since the strap is long for my wrist to begin with, there would be quite a lot of tail that needs to be tucked underneath the keepers.

Right now I鈥檓 leaning toward getting a custom strap made by Jean Rousseau - I have a few of their straps on other watches and am pleased with the quality (they鈥檙e also the OEM for many of Omega鈥檚 straps, from what I know). And their customization options are great.

I picked up this Omega CK2998 strap and clasp at the OB in NYC in anticipation of the eventual arrival of my H10.

Does anyone know if the trilogy speedy bracelet fits this case? I believe I鈥檇 read that the cases are different but wanted to confirm. Thanks!

That looks stunning! What size is your wrist? Also, do you have a part # for the strap and/or clasp?

Eternally frustrated by Hodinkee's lack of inventory / options for short straps. I'd pay for a short davenport if I could actually get one. Their normal straps seem on the long side always.

I actually quite like that. Far more interesting than a Speedy Tuesday in my opinion.

Funny, just found a typo in the pamphlet (which doubles as the certificate of authenticity) - see photo 3. Calls the seconds subdial a 30-minute interval rather than a 30-seond interval.

it's not ck2998 strap, it is silver snoopy award strap.

It is a CK2998 strap. The Silver Snoopy strap is black and wider and therefore won't fit the H10. But if you like the Silver Snoopy Strap, and have a CK2998 or a 60th Anniversary Speedmaster, and like the blue-gray color, this one is for you.
