Love the crown!
Oh yeah the crown is a crazy Parmentier type !
It has a female spline on the outside of the cap, and when you unscrew it you can reverse the cap and it fits onto the spline of the winder. It’s not surprising that so few still have their original caps.

I sold too many to list, and mourned every single one of them.... but have to stay on track, the plan is a smaller more focused collection. All sales went on upgrades, and these are the ones I added this year (the Rado, a functional dive watch, was a birthday present, and the EP a bargain I couldn’t pass up)
2020 - hoping to add a nice, reasonably priced Snowflake, a 1016 and a 2998-3 ...as well as peace and goodwill on earth. It all looks equally unlikely 😀
There’s plenty of 2019 left and I’m working hard to end on a high. It was a very odd year for me with some completely unplanned and expensive purchases. I bought 4 Heuers all of which require sorting, plus a very interesting part for a project watch. More of that in 2020. The two best buys that are ready to wear are the SM300 and a transitional Monaco 1133B. But both are still in the US whilst I save up to pay import duties 😁
And of the other less recognizable bits and pieces I’m really loving this Voit diver.
Despite my vow to start selling this year, I never got around to it. However I had some inexpensive fun this year with Baltic and Timex LE’s. All are terrific watches.

Wow, those are all fantastic. Your collection is getting quite impressive.
While we're sharing the incomings of 2019, the fact that so many of you have sold your watches in 2019 as well makes me feel like a ill-disciplined hoarder 😗. Bought 10, and only sold 3, so net positive 7 😵💫
