For the watch-loving crowd, this book is fascinating.

I finally read this earlier this year. It was a great read. I also read "Hands of Time: A Watchmaker's History" by Rebecca Struthers. Both were great books.

I found this pair of old Oklahoma History and Civics textbooks from 1910 and 1918. I really enjoy old history texts, they really give you an interesting insight into what the values of the day were. One has a great photo of a pair of "Early Oklahoma Citizens" and the other has a terrific map of Oklahoma.

I picked up a copy of Sled Driver from one of libraries where I meet students. I was a little taken aback to see such a rare book at such a tiny library.

For any Michael Connelly fans out there this is a great one. It’s true crime, happened back in the 90’s. The author Rick Jackson, a real LAPD detective, is one of the people Connelly based Harry Bosch from.

Currently reading "Listening To the Law" by Amy Coney Barrett. For us non-lawyer types it is pretty instructive on the federal court system and she reviews snippets of the history of the Supreme Court which are both entertaining and educational. Whether she (or any of 'em) are as guileless as she presents the present (and former) justices to be is subject to debate.

Let's hope she listens to the law...

Let us pray that all the Supreme Court justices listen to the law rather than to …

Been stuck on light duties due to medical woes so hitting some catch-up reading.

History book detailing the English win at the battle of Agincourt with lots of surrounding details.
Written by an Author ( and history authority ) who normally writes fiction but took time out for an enjoyable well set out factual book that you want to read.

Quite enjoyable.
