I received a call from my dealer and picked up the watch today, still in its delivery case. I have always been a Peanuts fan and my birthday is Oct. 5th, the same day Omega received the award from NASA. Always thought the watch would look great in my small collection. As people have stated that strap is extremely stiff. But I believe, like a good pair of boots, that it will just take some work to break in and then be worth the effort. Here are some pics from the dealer and when I arrived home.
Beautiful watch. Love the case back!

Question for owners, does anyone think we should start a serial number list of them? Nobody seems to know how many there are, and at least we could get a start on that.

I don't think this effort would show anything meaningful. The Snoopy is a 'limited production' item, meaning they simply alocate batches of cases once per a time unit (weeks or months) and produce them. I assume the batches do not get continuous serial numbers, there will be gaps between batches of cases, making the tracking meaningless. The limited editions were ~2000 units per batch, so the serials covered a close range.
