This watch is absolutely the worst. Because of this turd my Rolex Sub, Planet Ocean and vintage Tudor Snowflake Sub get no wrist time at all.

It is so ridiculously easy to see and read, especially at night, therefore VERY bad if you are a sniper...or SBS, GRU, etc...
Not good for your health.

Who did you say is selling it? ;-)

By the time you have finished the bathroom, it will look dated and unfashionable, any laaadiees going in there will find an excuse to leave, but if they see that watch on your wrist, they will think you are a man of action and jump all over you................buy the watch.

The 1120 movement in it is not very good because you have to service it like every 5-7 years. Who wants that?! It'll probably just end up in a drawer somewhere if you decide to waste your money on one.

Get the watch, if the wife is going to put you into the dog house you'll have a lovely watch to keep you amused.
I'll beg to differ as there are (presumably) certain things you can do with a wife that you can't really do with a watch.
(Otherwise what you need is not another watch but another wife.)
Plus there's something to be said for the quality of life that comes from a nice bathroom. After all that is where you stand at your most vulnerable to get clean and smelling good. That counts.

Finally, as a vintage watch enthusiast my very biased opinion on the watch will be: what麓s unique about that modern Omega that you won't find in the same one 5 years from now?

Do the bathroom, just shelled out $4K for paving around the pool and paver cut $300 odd off for tipper truck as he over quoted for removal of old concrete.

Misses said " throw that in the watch fund " 馃槑
Cool when the misses is throwing money in the watch fund....馃槜

Great watch, nothing bad about them at all just a solid daily wearer that are actually becoming more expensive now for clean examples.

I've got the chance to buy a mint condition 2254.50. I have the funds but I also have a bathroom that needs some work. The bathroom can wait, it's not urgent, but a job I'd like to get done.

So I'm asking you guys to point out all the negatives about this watch. I want to hear that the movement is poor, the bracelet uncomfortable, the lume is mediocre and the overall finish of the watch is substandard.

It's not even a good looking watch right? In fact this could possibly be the worst piece of dirt that Omega have ever produced! Just look at this random pic I got from Google....everything about this POS is plain wrong....

Looks cheap and nasty doesn't it. Why on earth anyone would waste their hard earned cash on garbage like this is beyond me.

Negative comments welcome....my missus wants the new bathroom and surely I don't need another watch 馃槙
Win-Win: you buy the watch you want with your funds and your wife can buy the bathroom she wants with her funds.

No, wait that's not right at all. How does that saying go again? "What's hers is hers and what's yours is also hers. Looks like it will be a great bathroom. Does Omega make ceramic bezels for taps? Maybe you could work in some of those BaselWorld PO ceramic-rubber ones I've heard there's a job lot on offer in Bienne.
