I'm going to make a subtle change to my daily Moonwatch. This watch was bought from an AD last year to save my lovey vintage Speedmaster from the perils of the daily grind. However, every day when I look down at the dial I can't help but wish that it just didn't feel so cold. So with the help of The Alchemist Relumer I'm going to change the lume colour to something more in line with the new 321 EW. I know haters are gonna hate but I can't wait, it's my watch and I think it's going to look bloody cool.
Me too! I'll post it up here once it's competed. The only problem I foresee is messing with my warranty but hey, life is short.
I think it will look great. Not a fan of plain black and white: I like a little bit of warmth (probably why I like the BB58)
We all know that tritium and radium dialed watches never had white lume to begin with...so why they went and sterilized it like this is beyond me
If an alarm clock can still have white paint after 75 years, why not an Omega watch? The fact is, you just don't know what color it was when it was new. Tom
Why not? I've customized a Speedmaster myself, taking a 57 "Replica" and replacing bezel and hands until it looked like a FOIS. Tom
Whenever I see that DOIT compilation, I fall on the floor laughing my freaking ass off...thanks for making my day, dude!
