·Got my grandpa's Speedy (my avatar) last month and it's currently being serviced by a remarkably well-qualified expert. My wish list is short: to have it back and start wearing it daily, as he did. It's my dream tool watch, has significant history and is a treasured heirloom.
Out of the many responses I've read on this thread, I think we have a winner 👍

·Well, to have serviced my mark4.5 bought in january is on top of my list. Now that i have purchased nos hands, day (in french) and date disc.
The old scratched crystal glass will wait for next year....
And if it's a wish list for santa claus, i'd like a mark 4 with a 1040 in it, please😀

·Well lockdown has allowed me time to stop, think and learn a bit more about these mechanical marvels that we wear on our wrists.
During this enforced time at home I have discovered Panerai, not sure why but just something about the brand has caught my eye and I just cannot shake it off. So at some point in the months ahead I will be taking a trip into the big city to find some shops that stock this brand and see just how big these watches are.
If I like what I see then who knows, I may just have to add one to the collection.
The other thing that I have learnt is that I am fed up with the Rolex look and by that I mean that the Rolex SS professional range is effectively one watch, everything seems the same just different colours. And, worryingly other brands are starting to look the same.
This for me is making me look for something that is different, something that will add a bit of character to the watch box.
Have I got it right, who knows but it has been an interesting time learning about the brand.
Cracking watches, but there are some great other brands with no mark up or huge wait lists that give me as much pleasure.
I will probably buy one again at some point but only when the madness ends.

·I'm on same boat. Just ordered one to be delivered by 15 June. So it would be my first watch bought during the lockdown and first Panerai as well.
Thats awesome gorgeous California dial, congratulations.
I am possibly going Radiomir rather than Luminor, just fine tuning the search process at the moment, the PAM 572 or 1312 are favourites but this changes daily, need to view them on my wrist to see which gels with me.

·1. I picked up a Speedy Pro a few weeks back
2. Tudor Black Bay arrived last week and I put a black/red Crafter Blue on it.
3. I am considering some time of Aviation watch. I like the Oris Big Crown and the IWC Mark.
4. I’m still waiting on my NATO straps from CNS and ordered a “reverse bond” while I was at it.
5. A leather watch case would be nice, Bosporus Leather sure is shmancy.

1. 2009 Speedy Prof. Moonwatch with a oem Mitsukoshi dial+hands conversion (sorry, don´t want to start a Frankenwatch controversy here but it´s intended to be a daily wearer)
2. 2001 Speedmaster X-33 Gen 1 full set
Both to arrive soon, so be sure I will have them posted asap.

I purchased the Speedy as a original full set and bought dial + hands separately so that a re-conversion could be easiely done. I bought from UK based Darren, head of www.vintagespeedmaster.com. Very nice guy.

Panerai were my 1st grail watch and lucky to have purchased a base 8 day 560 sandwich dial a few years back. Iconic looking watch, and distinctive, somewhat rare in the wild and not many people know about the brand. Prices have shot up recently and not much in the current range I like. Still have a soft sport for the brand, the strap seen can get addictive. But mine now takes a back seat to the BB58 which due to size is much better daily wear.
I'm personally waiting to see what Speedy announcement happens this year before deciding what 1st Omega to purchase. Whilst also debating the Tag Monaco if a deal at 35% off RRP can be found.
