I bought a Tag Connected 2020 a few days ago. I'm trying to control my impulses in buying an Omega 300 Diver (Blue). This would be my first Omega purchase and the last impulse buy of the year. I don't know how long I can keep the control. LOL

I didn’t realise how long this would get, ahem...

Rolex Steel Sub (date)
NTTD Seamaster - I really prefer this on the NATO
Birth year speedy - Seen a couple of three of these on Chrono24. Just a bit unsure of web purchasing, would rather see/buy it physically
321 Speedy
50th snoopy- just like to see what it looks like
Bremont MBII
Tudor Black Bay S&G (black dial)
And the money to buy them

Beautiful! Try and get an extract, for some reason the 345.0808 second edition extracts are hard to come by, seemingly is seems the German delivered ones can be obtained, but the overseas ones.. not so much.

Wish list + wanted to get the gold bracelet for my Speedmaster. Wife shot that down because she thinks a solid gold watch (w/bracelet) is for old people. And she hates the gold look. For example, I could never wear a gold necklace.

I had planned to sell a few watches to fund it, fortunately only one sold, and I was not planning on keeping that anyway. Had the modern Ploprof on sales block too, and fortunately the plug was pulled on the bracelet before the Ploprof sold.

Now what? Not looking to buy anything more this year, but will be on look out for peice #7 in the Speedmaster Decades Collection. But I have up to 9.5 years to figure that one out.

This is hard for me. I'm torn on the Sky Dweller, but think I'll be in the hunt for a Pepsi GMT-II on the jube.

My 2020 wishlist was a SMP 300M. About a month ago I found one in blue that I've been loving, so I'm not anticipating growing the collection any more this year. Really, the only other thing I know that I eventually want is a Grand Seiko Snowflake, but unless I see an amazing deal I can't pass up, I don't expect to seriously pursue it until next year.

My wishlist for the reminder of 2020 is between to SMP 2254 & SM PO 2201 (both 42mm). I keep flip flopping reading the many threads comparing the two. Excited to see which I end up with.

Well lockdown has allowed me time to stop, think and learn a bit more about these mechanical marvels that we wear on our wrists.

During this enforced time at home I have discovered Panerai, not sure why but just something about the brand has caught my eye and I just cannot shake it off. So at some point in the months ahead I will be taking a trip into the big city to find some shops that stock this brand and see just how big these watches are.

If I like what I see then who knows, I may just have to add one to the collection.

The other thing that I have learnt is that I am fed up with the Rolex look and by that I mean that the Rolex SS professional range is effectively one watch, everything seems the same just different colours. And, worryingly other brands are starting to look the same.

This for me is making me look for something that is different, something that will add a bit of character to the watch box.

Have I got it right, who knows but it has been an interesting time learning about the brand.
