Hello everyone, Can someone provide me some more info about this watch please? I found it at a local store and would like to know what's it worth. I came this far: It's a 1966, 168.005 with serial 24256999 and a 564 movement. But I can't find any references with the same dog leg lugs as mine + the same crown..

I like to mix modern and vintage. Here's my Constellation 168.017 Cal. 561 from 1966 with a very modern Welsbro strap 😀.

Scans from 2004. I sold off nearly my entire collection in 2007-2008 needing funds for
my step-daughter's college expenses. I didn't even recall this one being in my collection,
though the number of pieces I hated to part with were many and I've subconsciously tried
to forget them ( like the 18k 265 ). In any case, I am posting this one not because I still own it,
but because I'm hoping someone on OF now owns it! Serial number scan included.

I have had a few vintage watches for many years, but it was the sight of a crosshair steel 14900 that infected me with collectoritis nervosa. I instantly fell in love.
This one came from Austria, and looked like it had sat in a drawer for years. New crown, a BOR and a service and here we go.
The crystal is an original low-dome Ω ::rimshot::

Wow. Lovely two-tone dial, crosshair, arrowhead markers, sharp steel, lyre lugs... I'm yet to study constellations in depth, but I think this would be "the one" for me.

Triple dibs 😀

QUOTE="TexOmega, post: 505556, member: 9040"]Recently back from watchmaker, and now my Pride & Joy......

Circa 1958, ref 2852 with an unblemished pie pan black dial with silver print and large WG arrowheads, and pristine cal 505 movement.
Gorgeous unpolished SS case and well defined stars on medallion.
Buckle from the era I added to complete the package.

@1972Steve ...................the list continues to get longer

Now, I'm not an unreasonable individual, so, if you will exchange your 2023 BMW X7 M60i for it, I will move you to #1and we could conclude our transaction pretty quickly.😁
