Every single one of them looks to be in near NOS condition! Congrats - did you buy any of them new or are they ‘vintage’ acquisitions so to speak?

Thanks! I have bought them locally (Sweden) at different auctions - except for the Marine Chronometer which I bought privately. This was during 2008-2016. The steel one with the black dial was a project where I bought a donor watch and added a NOS dial. The others were bought with "condition, condition, condition" as a mantra. They all had their fair share of wrist cheese and small dirt and did not come from collectors - and/but I could see that the case and dial were really good.

As an example. The white dial steel had this picture in the auction:

Already from that bad pic I could see the sharp lugs. I asked for some more pictures and from them I made my decision.

A good watchmaker later...

I cannot understand why this thread is not a sticky! A reference library.

what's the reference number of the second watch? the gold one with unique lugs. Also, if I may ask, have you ever polished some of them ? even lightly? because they just look immaculately new.

It’s just him….
He’s acquiring, presentation and photography of his watches annoy us to no end 😉

Yes and no. The gold ones have had their oxidation taken off but no polishing done. The steel ones some light buffing but nowhere near any corners or angles of the watch. The cold cap black dial - no.

My wife's C-cased Connie, 24mm, ref 568.001 circa 1968. Stylish little watch, especially on a BOR.
