I wonder what causes that kind of patina on a non-lume watch, I always assumed it was passive smoke inhalation, but this one is kinda extreme

I think it has something to do with the paint/chemicals used on this particular dial because I have seen one other example of the exact same model here on OF that started to age fairly similarly. Interestingly, the movement is super clean and the case is sharp so it makes you wonder what triggered the chemical reaction but I doubt it's tobacco. It probably just flew too close to the sun 😀

My 2799 got a new strap and paired with a NOS 18k buckle I have had laying around for some time waiting for the right watch
Gorgeous watch and buckle! That folded strap is also really nice - where'd you get it?

Drop him a DM. No need to go through an intermediary platform. Matteo is super nice and responsive and does incredible work. Be aware though, this might become an expensive exercise. I got one, then another couple, and by now my whole collection is equipped with his straps. 😁

These 751 Constellations have some special1970s chique and mine is an almost mint example. I like it sharp!

So it's taken a while....7 years to be precise...to finally score an RG 7077 for my RG 2853....so here a group shot with friends 😀

The bracelet came to me from @MtV with a couple of shiny things going his way....more about that another time in a joint post 😉

It’s definitely with the right person now, I have no doubts we’re equally stoked about them. Looking forward to that shooting to create some vintage Omega watch porn. 😁

Not mine 😀, but I thought I post it for posterity. A OT 18781. It's being offered in Japan for a BIN of as little as $18.6k
