In one thread of John R Smith (https://omegaforums.net/threads/centenary-2500-jub-serial-numbers.12752/) a list of movement and case serial numbers was created mainly focusing on JUB models. Here we have a cal 333. I could not find information for the serial ranges, but is it expected to have this huge gap (107….. for the latest movement in the list) to the discussed example (121…..)?
We should probably start another thread if you want to discuss this further, but yes, the cal. 333 Centenaries were released several years later.

The paperwork in the listing shows a 1952 testing date, which means delivery was likely 1953 or later.

Thinking of bidding on this, how much do you think it will go to though?

It’s gold filled in nice shape which tends to put it around 500 but being a very nice one it could go a bit higher into the 600s but no more than that imo

I think it’s at its limit already even for that condition

Whats a good stopping point for this one? thinking of making an offer or bidding on it
I can see it going around 800-1000, possibly more if there are a few people interested, its a chronometer and in very nice condition so quite desirable

I messaged the seller to ask what offer he might accept, replied he had bought it 2021 from a dealer for $1,600 and realized he might not get that back but hopes the auction will establish the market. No service history so factor that into any offer.

I won this one for $168 total.
It’ll need service from an independent watchmaker to keep the costs down but definitely worth $168 and then some

Probably the best and most razor sharp 18k solid gold 168.005 Constellation Piepan in years. Check out all the photos, it’s pretty impressive

This is an extremely nice gold capped Seamaster sparkle dial 166.032 Cal 750 presentation watch with engraving

This is worth the Buy It Now price easily, as it is very rare to see a gold-capped watch with edges this sharp, I doubt it has been worn much and it has definitely been looked after.
