··His Holiness Puer SurdusI'm still hunting for my first watch. Searching for chronometre or Constellation from the 1950's. This one caught my eye because it looks in good original condition and has a waffle dial (despite it not being a chronometre).
1952 Gold capped OMEGA SEAMASTER textured dial bumper ref.2577-1 SC cal.354
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161922807408?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Listing says says 352 but picture shows 354 (bummer, as I rather have the 352 bumper...).
I found this information on OWD, which seems to agree with listing.
Serial of 13730260 places it 1952-3.
Is gold capped a good choice for a daily wearer?
What is your opinion the watch and asking price?
Michel
