I got it with the buy it now price. Just too nice to pass up. Will take pics and share!
Congrats mate, definitely get it serviced too but don’t let them polish it as that’s a superb case.

Really nice example of a gold-filled Seamaster De Ville Cal 563 in excellent condition with one of the more attractive racing type dials

https://www.ebay.com/itm/145358133919

This one is at its limit now imo, given its gold-filled I wouldn’t bid further despite the condition

it's at $415 now, how much do you think it'll go for?
450-650, if it goes higher I think there are better options

Thanks for the reply

I am also looking at this one you posted earlier https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/33506553...-53481-19255-0&campid=5338788128&toolid=10001 (my preferred one, but I am at work when the auction ends)

I am in the UK, does anyone have any experience on import duties? I bought an orient bambino about 5 years ago from Japan and got absolutely shafted.

Presumably you’re going to be paying the 20% VAT on that, potentially more but I’m not certain. Watches already in the UK sell for a bit of a premium because that 20% is effectively built into their value due to the UK’s position tax wise these days.

This one goes off later today, Cal 102x gold-plate Geneve Ref 166.0170 in very good condition with the correct matching bracelet

I wrote about this one here, very funky and unusual: https://stories.omegaforums.net/elegant-70s-vulgarity-omega-jumbo-geneve/

https://www.ebay.com/itm/126126194249

This reminds me a more extreme example of the 70's, Omega's Geneve Cal. 1480 TV SCREEN Automatic Gold Dial Ref. 166.0123 Vintage 1970

Quite nice Seamaster 166.067 Cal 565 in steel with a clean sparkle dial

I wrote about these here: https://stories.omegaforums.net/166-067-165-067-seamaster-born-without-a-bezel/

Thanks for surfacing these. Not sure my wife appreciates me bidding on multiple of these. I am sure she is glad, I have not won anything so far 😀.
Bidding on this one. Any advice how high one should go? Searched Ebay for past records and they are all over the map (Ranging from $600 to $1200) Thanks again.

Its a non-chronometer and not as popular as the other sparkle dial cases so I’m going to say $500-700 is around where its likely to land, I’d want to get it under there ideally and definitely not more than $750

Finishing tomorrow, up to $4800 now

Just over an hour left on this one, still $4,800 but I expect 5-6k by the end, it will be very interesting to watch as an example of a dogleg in gold with this level of sharpness hasn’t sold for a very long time on eBay, most of them are in private collections

Very reasonable imo

That case (including tarnish) is amazing and dial looks perfect as well. Don’t think you will see a better one and I think the buyer did really well.

I'm the winning bidder at $5,200 and was surprised no one bid higher. I'll share more pics once I get it but I'm very happy with the price. This one is going to stay in my collection for a very very long time.
