Incidentally both this one above and this two tone De Ville are among Norman Morris’s special models. I think most of my favorite De Villes from that era are actually these US market models.

This 14k solid gold blue tuxedo dial Seamaster De Ville goes off in 9 hours, still quite cheap so far and one of the nicest De Villes I’ve seen in a while.

This Constellation 168.004 goes off in 30 mins in the UK, the more I look at it the more I think it could clean up into a nice daily wearer, the marks nearly all move depending on angle indicating they’re in the crystal and it’s just filthy but only $400 so far

Same, I bid 2k, but the person who won must've bid way more since it won by the automatic increment amount...

Decent looking Constellation 168.018 Cal 564 in gold cap, bracelet is rougher but they often are in gold filled

This one has about an hour left, price wise I think it’s already about at the limit for gold cap but still a very nice example

Now a “hot auction” at $4800 & 4days to go
It was always going to be, I still think 5-6k is where it’s at unless two collectors absolutely have to have it

I’m guessing whoever got him to end early is annoyed and probably some potential bidders messaged him to say he’d get more letting it rides ive done that when I’ve had something I really wanted to bid on.

In one thread of John R Smith (https://omegaforums.net/threads/centenary-2500-jub-serial-numbers.12752/) a list of movement and case serial numbers was created mainly focusing on JUB models. Here we have a cal 333. I could not find information for the serial ranges, but is it expected to have this huge gap (107….. for the latest movement in the list) to the discussed example (121…..)?
