Friends and kids at school laughed when Ed said, ""some day I'll have enough for a Gold Pie Pan Seamster"",and so friends we are here today to congratulate Ed on..........................
Yeah, this isn't likely to happen, sorry Steve.馃檨

Pretty sure it's all good. There are a few steel Omegas with engraving of features on the back like that.

1940's vintage, probably cal. 30T2.

I like that dial style. Good luck if you decide to go for it.

Thanks guys. I won't go for it as it's a bit older than I collect, and besides I wouldn't feel comfortable with that amount of radium kicking about. And I've just looked again and it's up to 拢160 from the 拢30 when I posted it. So not one for me, I just thought I'd let people know and hopefully get a decent price for the seller who clearly hasn't got a clue that it's quite a scarce (I think?) and desirable watch.

Duh. Didn't see the "Automatic" on the dial.

I think every one of us has overlooked that before. 馃槣

It needs a service and an Omega crown, but otherwise I like the look of this. Great movement, seemingly unpolished case with only minor dings and decent size. Seller isn't known for cutting much on price, but could well be a very good entry to Constellation ownership 馃憤

Oh, and I like this:

What an absolute blinder of a Seamaster, looks 100% original, near NOS and with a 7-row BOR. This has to be either a 354, a 501 or just possibly a 500. The seller obviously has no idea about watches and if a) I didn't already have a 354 SM chrono b) I hadn't overspent recently, I'd be going for this and not worrying about the lack of a movement photo. Rare in this condition: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-vintage-watch-/122284986052?hash=item1c78c0cec4:g:YR0AAOSwnHZYYSVo

Wait - you worry about over-spending?

Is that weird or what?
