I was thinking more along the lines of, "I remember when @Hijak was a young boy catching blue crabs on the south shore of L.I., even then Ed was always punctual, careful to be home in time for dinner..................................................."

"...................................…after working hard all summer Ed would put half his blue crab earrings into savings for his dream watch. Friends and kids at school laughed when Ed said, ""some day I'll have enough for a Gold Pie Pan Seamster"",and so friends we are here today to congratulate Ed on..........................

I've noticed him offering the same watch multiple times. The auctions run through and there is a "winner" but somehow they keep going back up. I'm sure sometimes there are flaky buyers, but I think other times the price isn't to his liking.
    Example:
Mark III "sold" in October for $1300:

    Note the beat up bezel

Then a Mark III sold in November for nearly $2k:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-OME...977720?hash=item2824327278:g:gcEAAOSwXyVYJj0FPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Both watches have the same case, dial, and movement serial. It looks like he sourced nicer bezel and got a better price a month later.

I know there has been concern expressed about this seller but I bought a pristine 18k 14381 from him a little while back
It wasn't cheap and I don't know if I was shilled but it arrived 2 days later by FedEx and I couldn't be happier
I was on another continent but it ain't for sale :)
