What an absolute blinder of a Seamaster, looks 100% original, near NOS and with a 7-row BOR. This has to be either a 354, a 501 or just possibly a 500. The seller obviously has no idea about watches and if a) I didn't already have a 354 SM chrono b) I hadn't overspent recently, I'd be going for this and not worrying about the lack of a movement photo. That one is a 9 if you count the outside links, 7 if you don't. Whether it's 9s and 7s or 7s and 5s has IIRC been discussed before on here but I can't be bothered to look for that discussion. I don't feel strongly about it either way and am just going with what I think is in more common use.

That went for a lot more than I was willing to pay. Besides I couldn't bid on it anyway it turned out...
I wonder why this hasn't been snapped up yet. If I hadn't bought a 168.034 recently, this would have been on the way to me. I might actually send him an offer.
Nice piece certainly but I guess the Finnish date wheel may be putting people off, can't say my Finnish is up to snuff and from my little understanding of N Euro linguistics, it wont be all that similar to Danish either. I suppose a replacement wheel isn't impossible to source though...
Day-Date are nonstarters for me. That Eterna bracelet might be worth a couple hundred USD. It might be a good deal to purchase and separate.
I hope a new member has the smarts to snatch it fast before some eBay vendor does and relisted it for $1000. Date wheels for these are not hard to find.
Maybe people don't want to wait until after 7 July to get their watch (this is at the bottom of his ad): "ATTENTION! I'm out of town till July 7, so shipping will be possible since that date." If I liked the watch, I would buy it. Just doesn't scratch any itches for me.
Some people find room for them in their collections, albeit often versions with more text on the dial I've sent the seller an offer... He'll ignore it, if he knows his stuff That note is ten years old... Odd listing.
That may be a mistake? However the rest of his terms sound egregious and downright snity . I would withdrawn any dealing with the seller.
