It seems that Omega is missing every single Limited Edition delivery. The speedy tuesday releases are just bad, with complete lack of transparency. I for one would rather prefer all the watches get made and then shipment starts, so everyone gets a fair game.

OB Brookfield Place in NYC left me a voicemail saying they got some in today but I don't know if mine is in the batch or not. They only called because I was looking to get refunded as I'm impatient.

Please keep us updated. You are not alone in being impatient. These are inexplicably late with no outlook for when prepaid deliveries will be made.
Quote from OB Brookfield Place in NYC:

"So far the entire US retail network has only started delivery for less than a handful pieces. And they are based on the order the deposit was received. Therefore to be realistic, I don't believe your timepiece delivery is going to be in the immediate future, but at least the delivery has begun so you know it is on the schedule."

Seems like a loose definition of "on the schedule."

I too wish I could sell millions in product that I did not have.

Omega is basically running kickstarter campaigns.

Limited Edition of 500 pieces to be delivered November-December 2018 with cash collected for preorders on September 4, 2018. All 500 pieces were sold and at least half the cash was collected from the lucky purchasers when the edition was sold out. And not an official word from Omega on the actual schedule as November and most of December passed. Such arrogance.

I think keeping in mind that this is not some life saving drug, or food needed to keep people from starving, or some other kind of critical life or death item is a good idea. It's an expensive toy, and unless someone has stretched themselves financially to buy it, and counted on having it to flip before the bills came in, I can't see why the delivery being a little late is such a big concern.

First world problems...

Good grief. What's going to happen to delivery times in 2019 with the release of the 50th Anniversary Apollo 11?

Wanted to share the results of a long telephone call with Omega's Customer Support folks about this timepiece this afternoon. I told the rep at the end of the conversation that the information would be shared here. He said that only about TEN (10) of the Speedmaster Hodinkee Ltd Edition watches had been received in the USA to date. He said there are no more due to arrive until mid- to late-January.

To add on to the comments about Omega failing to meet delivery dates and pre-selling watches; receiving millions in revenue prior to even making a watch got me thinking. This is a pretty sound business model, one that I can't believe would be tolerated by consumers for other durable goods purchases... It's even more amazing that 1/2 of this production run was offered via a direct sale model, no middle man, the full purchase price went directly to Omega, unlike other brands that sell through authorized dealers, thus diluting what they ultimately receive for each watch... truly amazing way of generating significant advance revenue!
