That’s why I thought! But been wearing it for two weeks straight now on different HODINKEE bracelets (nato, black leather, etc). My hulk submariner has been in the drawer next to a Daytona which I were seldom as it’s less discrete.
Seriously beautiful collection! Nice to see your H10 and your Mark 40 there too! We need to hear from some more H10 owners.

I'm curious how accurate the H10s are for you guys who have received yours...Mine is running about +11.5s/day. Not thrilled with the performance.

Also I'm going skiing later this week for a few days. Any concerns with me bringing this guy along on the slopes? I was thinking this or my Panerai Radiomir 42mm....which may be able to withstand a bit more of a beating.
My H10 is about +2/day.

aw man. Yeah mine is not that great. Maybe it needs to settle in a bit....I'll continue to keep an eye on it. We have 6 years of warranty on this watch (the 5 from Omega plus and additional year through Hodnikee), so plenty of time to get this resolved if it becomes an issue.

By the way, the watch performed well on the ski trip

I love special edition watches and this Hodinkee edition Speedy is definitely a beautiful watch. Would definitely consider buying one in the future (if prices don’t become outrageously high)

Cara Barrett from Hodinkee posted a photo on Instagram (@its.cara.time) yesterday with an annotation that said their next batch of H10s are being shipped to Hodinkee's remaining 250 customers. Anybody else receive their H10? Share your photos and thoughts! Wonder how many are now in the wild!

Wow I love that one, congrats. Pardon my ignorance on this one but it looks like a Reduced form factor, 39mm? LOVE the retro index numbers...

I won mine in a raffle and, prior to seeing it in the metal, had listed it for sale and planned on using the funds to buy something else I had my eye on.

One glance at it in the metal, though, and I was smitten. 🥰

After having owned a hesalite moonwatch I feel like the playfulness is a breath of fresh air. For me, the whimsy and use of bold primary colours harkens back to the work of the artist Joan Miro:

I’d also say the some of the detractors out there, this is one of those watches that make much more sense in 3D than it does on a screen.

That it’s not for everyone only makes me love it more 😉

My only gripe is I wish it had a hesalite crystal rather than domed sapphire. The counter-argument would be that, without the clarity the sapphire crystal provides, the beautiful grey-blue dial would likely wash out a bit and you would lose the rather subtle contrast between the black sub-dials and the dial itself.

I need to up my strap game with this watch....the included leather strap is awful! The grey nato that comes with it is my preferred choice but it makes the whole package really thick. What are you favorite straps for this one? Earlier in the thread I saw a an official Omega rubber strap and that looked great, though is really expensive with the deployment buckle if purchased from Omega (not sure where else you would find it)

Here are a few examples.

Cheap and cheerful Suede strap from B&R Bands

Custom brown leather strap made by Ivan at Two Stitch Straps:

Coal Two-Stitch, also from Ivan at Two Stitch Straps:

A black leather strap that mimics the Omega one, but is much nicer quality. Also from Two Stitch Straps (this one is 20mm so slightly squeezed):
