Omega Speedmaster Hodinkee LE - Arrivals Thread

I know I'm a little late to the party but I had to wait exactly 367 days between reserving my Speedy Tuesday LE and receiving it. Mine was one of the last few to arrive in fact. That being said, I think first deliveries for that special edition occurred roughly 6 months after it was first announced. So for anyone still waiting, all hope is not lost - it's only been ~5 months. I would even go as far as to say that Hodinkee's hands are tied and it's all on Omega at this point. Not sure what the hold up is (for the STLE it was a quality issue with the dial), but I can assure you it's totally worth the wait once you do finally receive your watch.

You must be very dedicated to giving Omega your money to patient enough to wait 367 days for a watch you could buy elsewhere any day of the week. Bravo!

As for the guys still waiting on their H10. I like the watch a lot but if it were me who had paid in full and was STILL waiting on the watch, I’d be asking for a refund and sourcing one on the used market or simply buying another watch.

May I ask why you bought two of them?
Why two? Because he probably wasn't able to get three, four or five to flip for a profit.

Sure, one is mine and one will be given to my brother.

And I don't think I got any extra gift with mine.

Wear it in good health! I had to change straps. It’s beautiful but I feel it’s too thin for the case.

Thank you! I agree ... I'm definitely going to explore some other strap options. Honestly, one of the reasons I wanted a this watch (and a Speedy in general) was to mess around with some fun straps.

So versatile. Might be a little limited compared to a standard speedy just because of the dial color and all the other colors but i can definitely see this one being worn on a multitude of straps as well.

Got mine today from Naples Fla. OB. Beautiful, love it. Even better looking in person but not sure about the strap. I’ll put the NATO on tomorrow to see how it looks. It’s a more casual timepiece, maybe a rubber strap would look good on it.
Thoughts?

Congrats! I have mine on the OEM speedmaster racing rubber strap most of the time and I like the combo. See my post on page 4 of this thread for pictures!

Picked mine up from the OB last night. Ordered immediately and paid in full so that I wouldn’t miss out, but I’m not really in love with this one. Maybe it’ll grow on me. I do, however, love the overall size of this watch.

If only there was a rubber strap option like the seamaster diver 300m that fit these lugs. That's what I would like for mine.
