I am new to the site and have read a number of your posts. I have a Quantum of Solace that I love and found a brand new Skyfall at a AD. Just curious if you had the PO or the AT Skyfall and which one did your friend buy? Lastly if you would share what he paid, these watches are a few years old and just wondering what they are getting for them new.
THANK YOU and glad to hear that you are being taken care of properly. It doesn't matter if you buy one watch or like you many watches it is good to know that the boutique does the right thing for the customer.
At the boutique, you pay full retail...
So that doesn't help you much with an idea of what current resale value would be.
Chronos 24, the sales section, or even ebay will give you a better sense...
ADs , as opposed to boutiques may discount more, but now that the president of US retail for Boutique has also taken over retail/AD , there is more strict policing of the discounts - (secret shoppers, rigid quality assurance etc)...
In exchange for paying full price at the boutique, you get a richer point of sale experience, a much higher level of service (even after sales) and usually some value added incentive... Gifts/winders/PGA weekend/space centre dinner/ watchmaker course ... Often experiences on which you can't place a dollar value ...
