Why does my Sugar Free gum from my original post have 2 grams of carbohydrates per stick?

It's the sorbitol, which is a sugar alcohol. Your body can't digest it, but your gut bacteria can resulting in gas. Don't chew too many sticks in rapid progression or there will be winds.

Speaking of Itzak Perlman, we won't even get started on my recollection of music theory and ability to sight-read music while attempting to play it. Abysmal would best describe the performance.

I used to be able to sight read. I wasn't great at it, but I could struggle through a score.

A couple weeks ago I looked at a piece of music.
Two flats, so the key signature was easy.
But then cam the notes;
Every Good Boy Does...

The cabbage and bean soup my wife made last night has the same effect...

Horn player? If I had to sight read two flats right now I’d just walk out of the room. Violin and orchestra was my life growing up. It became all consuming and I burned out on it by college knowing I didn’t want to be a career musician. I’ve picked it up here and there but not currently playing. Still have a deep love of classical music. And heavy metal. They actually have a lot in common. What were we talking about again?

Same here, Music Ed major in college...had a professor that gave me the most pointed and valuable advice by saying "I see the writing on the wall...you must be blind not to". He was absolutely right, I was burned out and didn't have the passion it would take to make a career of it.

I build Data Centers now...

Excuse me - can you tell me if I was going up the stairs or coming down the stairs?

I was distracted yesterday again. I forgot that I am not 20 years old and jumped over a snow bank

. I also forgot that my starting point - the sidewalk - was about a foot higher than my landing area (roadway).

I landed on my feet but the right knee felt weird. Today, it hurts!

I better keep the Voltaren away from the toothbrush…

I never forget anything……I do however have difficulty in remembering it in a timely fashion! 😁

Bass, the big one. I was in the orchestra in college, which was the last time I tried to read. Also the pretty much last time I played with a bow. I still play regularly, but it's traditional blues and "Americana." I was dead set on being a musician in my youth. However, after a year or two on the road I opted for a "real job."
