Being home sick over the weekend, I wracked my brain to try to remember all of the watches I've owned over the years. I thought it might be fun for folks to share this, too. By keeping it to the first 10, which span ~30 years, it also avoids turning this into a vomiting of an expensive watch collection.

I put down the years in possession and the model year, too. Has anyone posted something like this before? I searched, but didn't see anything. In order, here they are:

    1. 1974-80. 1973 Hamilton Day 'n Date 5007 (825003-3). -A gift from my parents and I hated the watch from day 1. Cushion case and automatic movement...why couldn't they have gotten me a Seiko Diver like my brothers?? Stopped working many years ago. I had no idea what it was called and finally recognized it on eBay this past weekend. The picture is from eBay. There are two for sale.

    2. 1977-. 1977 Seiko LCD Chrono A159 4019 G. A better birthday present. I still have it and it works fine. Definitely beaten up a lot. Was worn actively for about 5 years. This is a picture of the actual watch.

    3. 1983. Wakmann small black racing style watch. Time only. Orange hand. Black case and bracelet. From I Magnins. It fell apart. Can't fine an example online.
    4. 1983-2002. 1983 Seiko small diver 2A22-0039. Got it December 1983 at that watch shop in the Beverly Center. Wore it for a couple of years actively and then it sat in a drawer. -Fried out.

    5. 1984-87. 1984 Swatch GB101 Black Magic. Black case, black dial, gold hands. Got it on a ferry from England to Oostende. I probably tossed it when it no longer was working.

    6. 1984-1997. 1984 Heuer 2000 Chrono. 262.006. I loved this watch. Now in the possession of my brother in law. Bought it in Berne for ~$250. They had an Air King for $350 and I was like, yick! Quartz, baby!!

    7. 1986-90. 1986 Tag Heuer F1 Red. Red case, white dial, black strap. Model 385.513. Got it at Mark Shale in Chicago. Can't recall what happened to it. I may have passed it on to my brother. I really loved this design!

    8. 1997-. 1997 GMT Master II Coke U series. -Would be worth a lot more if I hadn't sent it twice to RSC. So, it nows have a 2007 Superluminova service dial and hands and a 2014 bezel. Oh and they polished it too much. -But I have all the papers. Bought in Singapore. That's the actual watch below. I'm sort of bored with it, but am keeping it for sentimental value as it was my first fancy watch.

    9. 2004-06. 2003 IWC Mark XV White Dial. Another birthday present, but it felt too dainty to me and so I sold it on eBay. I think it would have been better if it had a black bezel. Also, it needed a movement service under warranty...grrrr.

    10. 2003-06. 1980's Tag Heuer F1 Blue. Model 381.513/1. So in the Tag Heuer outlet mall shop they had a NOS F1. $150. Boom! Had it a couple of years. Then sold it off on eBay. By the 2000s I think I was fancying bigger watches
