How about Humism? I got one of their watches via Kickstarter. Basically instead of a second hand, they have a patterned disk that rotates and interferes with a pattern on the dial:

My kid pulled the trigger on these without consulting his old man. Having now seen them in the metal, pretty solid value in a Bahaus watch. He balked at my suggestion of a Chronoscope and he likes but can’t afford Nomos yet. Now of course he’s in love with the Baltic GMT.
Saw this brand pop up on my Facebook feed and I was immediately intrigued: Farer Watches
"British design with Swiss engineering"
I was looking for a mechanical watch with GMT function that is more affordable and more available than a Rolex GMT2. Their "Maze" has the same functionality and better water resistance, but at a fraction of the cost. Movement is Sellita SW330 based.

Did you get the Farer? I’m also in the market for an “inexpensive” GMT for travel (once it resumes) and have been staring at this Farer for two months. Would live to hear the feedback if you got one.
Anyone familiar with this brand. Interesting history with a link to Auschwitz. Could have the wrong camp lost the link but have the watch. Advertised as a USA made quartz movement. At the time the article was printed they were in the 299.99 price range. I’ll dig up the info but a pic will suffice for now
Real USA movement.? I had heard that there is a company making.
