This just popped up in my inbox today: http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/a...0158/lot-c14891b3-c0b9-4b5b-bbe8-a54001458277 They describe it as being a redial, sure, but does a cal 752 really belong in there? Thanks guys, I still have along way to go with developing my instincts with these things, but a comfort I'm on the right track, at least this time.
Any movement shots with the listing? Would be interesting to see! Edit: Yes, there are. Wow, that's crazy!
Where there's money to be made, shenanigans will ensue. Thanks for asking before committing to a purchase!
Brother to the 751 in my sparkle dial (<- avatar pic). Yah, I felt that way too, but it wouldn't be the first time a calendar function movement was used sans date ring in a production watch. Doesn't sit right on a SM300 though.
It might not be a 752 - it might be just a replacement bridge from a 752 since the 55x, 56x, and 75x series had many interchangeable parts. Regardless, it isn't correct.
