Well, I hope the new bracelet will be something similar and without the crown guards would be nice 😀

At first glance the bracelet looked very... Rolexsey.

Hopefully that means presidentially and not oyster perpetually.

Which bracelet are you referring to?

I was told it looks similar to an Oyster bracelet.

Not my preference for a Speedmaster but that's better than the Jubilee bracelet.

I hear the new bracelet design is close to the one on the Apollo 11 50th moonshine gold watch. Would you agree?

Oh no
Sounds like they might just be using the standard professional bracelet sans polished dividers, which doesn't really fix the issues with that design, imo. Would be much nicer if they did something reminiscent of the flatlink.

A 3861 is a huge improvement and selling point. Would love to see a micro-adjustable bracelet as well. If I can't get my hands on a Snoopy-3, this would be the watch to get in 2021.

I haven’t seen it but my guess is it will look something like a Planet Ocean bracelet but scaled down a bit since it’s not a dive watch.

My first impression was that it looked like a Rolex bracelet. Then was told that it is inspired by a vintage Omega bracelet.

Jubilee-ish
Hmm, sounds like you are referring to a Beads of Rice bracelet?

Don't think they ever sold a speedmaster with a BoR bracelet. Doubt they start that now.

I’ve been trying to look for different variations of vintage Speedy bracelets and found a couple possibilities, both 105.012 according to the page (Speedywatches discussing The Smithsonian Collection).

Cunningham’s 105.012 from Apollo 7

Jack Lousma from Skylab 3

Could be beads of rice or the brick one I guess.

Can you reveal if the logo on the dial was applied?

Here's what I can share unofficially.

- anti-magnetic movement, but the same
- about a grand more
- new bracelet

The bracelet will be the kicker. Some will like it, some will not.

Expect an announcement before the end of the year.
Will it be METAS certified?

Omega has stated this is their goal. Everything points to the 3861 being the new standard Speedmaster movement.
