If i wear it enough it does everything its supposed to including generate enough electricity to keep it pretty well charged. I enjoyed wearing it with the family at Disney World a few months ago where every day was a long hike through theme parks.
It came with a recycled ocean plastic strap that was a little stiff for my liking. I swapped that out for one of their rubber straps which is more comfortable if you’re really using it for exercise and getting hot and sweaty.
If i wear it daily but not super active while wearing it (desk diving, etc.) then the battery does run down and it needs to be recharged with the plug in charger after a few weeks. But when it’s in the watch box it goes into hibernation mode after 24 hours and the battery lasts many months.
Basically I just pull it out when I know I’m going to have a physically busy day and it’s fun to wear.
