I showed my 60 year old Tissot PR 516 a day or two ago. It wasn’t until I saw it enlarged that I saw there were there were some “floaters” behind the crystal. So I attended to that, today, and polished the crystal. Looks better, I think. I hadn’t worn this watch for a long time, and I’d forgotten how remarkable a performer that it is. The Tissot bracelet is dammed uncomfortable, however. It pinched my wrist yesterday when I put the watch on! But it is right for the watch.

Yes, that bracelet looks like the Anti-Oyster when it comes to comfort 😬

This artifact today. A previous owner had done his best to try to destroy it. I got it on a barter deal, and at that time, it looked to me as though it had gone through a wood chipper! The gold filled case was unbelievably chewed up, and the dial was a mess. But the calibre 351 bumper automatic survived quite nicely. I serviced the movement, replaced the mainspring, found this donor Omega case and donor dial in my stash. Replacement crown and crystal (neither Omega), fitted this Omega bracelet, and here you are. Nobody’s grail watch, but I like it. Circa early 1950 era. So approaching its 75th birthday.
