Lucky you, I didn’t fare well avoiding the dentist but last year I had a series of unexpected surgeries that put everything on the back burner. I ended up with a bit of surgical ptsd couldn’t even contemplate a dental cleaning but I now have all the hardware in for my first implant. As a PSA a mix of Motrin and Tylenol work well as they work two different brain chemicals but these damn anti biotics kill me. I can’t find one that doesn’t impact me negatively. Anyway hopefully my story has made someone avoid putting off dental checkups cause damn that was painful
Shoot I just wrote a post how antibiotics frig me up. I take them as I know the dangers of not doing so but I frigged up eating banana bread that was too hot oral surgeon has me rushing to fill an extra antibiotic to take. Remind me to stop complaining I think someone’s listening
I was very lucky. I don't eat a lot of sweets and hardly ever drink soda of any type, which probably helped. Fortunately, I haven't had any bad experiences, had four wisdom teeth pulled in the Navy so it can't get worse than that. Don't have to warn me about antibiotics, they killed my kidneys, but I guess I lived, right? Now I can only take acetaminophen. I'm there with you recommending every one try and go to the dentist regularly to stay ahead of issues.
I have my fathers Olongapo, not wearing today, just fun to see another in the wild. He was US Master Diver submariner, stationed in the Souda Bay in the 80's. I got the band without a watch, so I got a '84 6309 Seiko turtle. I had a misfitting 22mm to 18mm adapter before making a much better fitting adapter myself. (on wrist pic).
As long as you don't order another watch and forget about it, you're good.
