Tropical (gold top/steel back) bubbleback, ref. 3696. I recently sourced a period matching pink gold-filled buckle, albeit non-Rolex. Not too worried about that. There's nothing worse than wearing a yellow buckle with pink watch! 🤦

Ah, Steve, so you were the one to buy this NOS one. Gorgeous! Aren't you afraid to wear it? 😒

How does it feel to have a NOS vintage omega? I have always been amazed at how these watches look and feel in the flesh.

Well, not really wearing very long, kind just for show and being a smart ass 😁. It is not really NOS, and just in excellent condition; you can tell its been worn. The plus's are PG; It is also larger then claimed at 34.5 it is Connie size; the gold minute pearls and red seconds (which looks super with the PG). so overall, I am very pleased with it, even not being true NOS.

The fact that it is a 35.5mm sized watch makes for all the difference in the world - I think vastly more attractive than if it were 33 or 34mm. I see some tiny case blemishes with your picture - probably just storage marks? Have seen that happen with some watches. If the strap and buckle are original to the watch then you've truly got a gem as the strap and buckle alone are worth a few hundred in that condition.

My mistake, it is a 34.5, sorry. Still a lot better then the 33 post in the sale.
