No. Just looked with a loupe. It appears to be some odd pattern of tarnish. Not visible to the naked eye, natch (at least mine).
I've been in lust with this watch for years! Owned it 2 or 3 now, and drooled over it since I saw it in a magazine on an airplane LONG before that. Didn't help that somebody on TZ had one back in the days I used to post there.
I like the clean and simple look of these -what I call- "12-3-6-9" dials (BTW, is there a correct name for this dial configuration?)
