It's ANZAC Day here in Oz, probably one of our most sacred days. It begins with the Dawn Service, usually followed by a "Gunfire Breakfast", then a march through the city. In the afternoon the population celebrates in any manner they wish, with thanks to those who made it possible to do so. For me it's of to the footy (Aussie Rules Football).

So you need the right accoutrements, medals for the march, footy cap for the afternoon and a Speedie to keep track of it all.

For those that haven't experienced a stadium full of 93,000 people in dead silence after the Last Post, well....it's an experience.

Anyway, it was a great day full of memories and we had a win.

Go Bombers!!

Check out this thread, Kommis: http://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-watches-in-nyc.5026/#post-58877

NYC is - amazingly - not a great vintage watch town. Go browse at Aaron Faber not far from your hotel, and on 47th street (although you'll have to look at a lot of diamond encrusted Rolexes and Breitlings to find one decent vintage watch), or at some of the places mentioned in that thread, but don't expect to find anything decent or if decent, decently priced.
