Welcome back, I’m sincerely happy to read that you are getting better. Like the others, I missed your contributions to this forum.
I imagine the path out of depression is a very difficult one and I admire your bravery.

Good to see you again mate.

I went through a period of "depression" following a divorce. Nothing like clinical depression though.
The best thing that bucked me up and got me out of it was just a few hours of talking with a mate at the pub.
I talked a lot, he just nodded and said "it's your shout" (all the time). But after that encounter, I felt a whole lot better.

I know this isn't a cure for proper depression, but your getting back on the forum with your "virtual mates" will be a small step toward some sort of normality (Normality! get it? 😁).

New steps taken with your first post in this thread, hopefully you keep walking forward as it’s obvious there is a lot of love for you around these parts.
Hope your Doc enjoys all the nice goodies you wear to the sessions.
Best Wishes

Norman

In NE PA we had a little get together not too long ago. I brought that 2828 you sold me a couple of years back because I love the hell out of that watch. I also did not see you on here for a while and wanted to represent you at that get together. Thoughts and prayers are with you brother. If you ever need anything feel free to reach out to me!

Good to see you back. Like many on here I don't have any real advice that could make a difference, but you sharing your story, probably takes a ton of weight of other people's shoulders. Knowing that they are not the only ones going through stuff like this. I hope you find your way out of the darkness.

Take care
Stuart

Like so many (which is in itself pretty cool) I've been thinking about you frequently, remembering the last GTG at El Rancho Jones...way back pre-Covid. So happy to see you here!

Welcome back Norman, terribly sorry to hear about the dark months, looking forward to seeing more posts again. Good to hear there’s a psychiatrist who can connect to your watch interest and encourage you with it.
