-If I like it: Apollo 13 50th LE.
-RGM 801-COE
-RGM 801-AS
-Vulcain 50s President's Chronograph Heritage
-BB58 especially if they release a GMT version.
-Could do with a Navitimer.
-Glycine Airman because why not?
-Perhaps a Nomos Tangente
-Something unique from Reservoir. Torn between the Airfight Titane and the Tiefenmesser.
-D. Dornblüth & Sohn (many to choose from)
-Junghans 027/3381.44
-A nice simple Hamilton mechanical field watch

I literally have an entire spreadsheet that I keep with make, model, ref, price, and preferred vendor information that is continually updated with new wants and pricing. I'm a nerd for spreadsheets.

Same here! I look forward to one day sending my business to those few that stand out as real gems; I'm amazed at how rude some people can be when I'm trying to give them my money. 👎

To answer the OP... an updated version of the Seamaster 300 Master Coaxial - Big Triangle, please

Maybe a birth year 105.012-64 to go with my birth year 105.003-64...which seems logical...I think.

Needs to be unlikely to exist otherwise I have to open the wallet 😀 so:
1. co-axial escapement;
2. 18,000bph;
3. manual wind;
4. no date;
5. over 100m water resistance;
.... that should do it 😀

Priority is if I like the Apollo 13 LE 50th, if not than any of the below,
1. Bulgari SS Finisimo - Ultra thin
2. Breitling 1959 Navitimer
3. Zenith El Primero A384
4. JLC Reverso Blue Dual Face
5. Tag Monaco Gulf Calibre 11
6. Tudor BB58 - 39mm SS Bracelet
7. Cartier Santos Blue Dial

Submariner or BLNR if I find one at the dealer during my travels, not going grey.

For me, I am hoping 2020 will allow me to get a Rolex Dayton, Hublot AeroFusion, and an Omega 007 Skyfall. I just love these three which can work well in so many different occasions.

Ask me again tomorrow and you'll likely get a different answer, but I'd like to spend some of my year-end bonus (Feb) on either
- vintage UG tri-compax
- something with a moonphase (JLC MUT/Reverso, vintage Cosmic triple?)
- blue Heuer Monaco calibre 11 (left-hand crown, ideally vintage but not likely)
- vintage Breitling Chronomat 769
- Breitling Aviator 8
- Grand Seiko SBGA211 or SBGH213/263 (can't decide)

I've already got a FOIS as my speedy, and I thought that's all I wanted until I could get a real vintage Ed White, but all the talk of retiring the 1861 has got me thinking about a .005. But it's not like they're going to disappear right away ...

Birthday gift later in the year is too far away to predict what I'll surprise myself with.

Well, assuming I have any money left once I have paid school fees, had the new roof fitted and fed and clothed the kids:
- A Rolex 1016
- A Tudor snowflake blue dial
- A speedy 2998-3
- JLC reverso
- Large UG Compax Moonphase

explorer II white dial

currently own:
original dsotm on deployant
8500 Ti PO on blue rubber
2254.50

I think I like the black dial better on its own, but I feel that in terms of rounding out a “collection” (I kind of hate to call it that, not sure exactly why...) the white dial works better

the black dial explorer II, though clearly very different from the 2254.50, is also somewhat aesthetically similar.

thoughts on this rationale?

Overseas Dual Time or a Blancpain Bathyscaphe for me in 2020... Unless Omega finally gives us a new Diver 300 GMT first.

I want a true Omega competitor to the Rolex GMT-Master II. Maybe the same 42mm Seamaster 300m case w/ a GMT movement, but without the He valve like on the vintage Diver GMT models with the cal. 1128. Then give it its own line, like Globemaster. So then we have the 3 core foundation sports lines: Speedmaster, Seamaster, and Globemaster to properly compete with Daytona, Submariner, and GMT-Master.

I have the polar and absolutely love owning/wearing it. I had the option to buy either and selected the polar. When I see pictures of the black dial though, I still pause and stare at those floating hands. Still wouldn’t choose it over the polar, theres just something that’s very cool about the black.

Excellent choice. Mine got a lot of wrist time in 2019, and I'll bet you'll have trouble leaving yours in the watch box this year!

I'm looking for a 38.5mm 'Skyfall' Aqua Terra.

It seems to be quite the unicorn. A white dial Daytona seems an easier proposition!!
