So these are just a few of the watches OD like to add, besides a lot of vintage and classic watches, like the Jaeger Reverso, Heuer Monaco, Cartier Tank, etc.

Maybe this one:

or if I’d like to go crazy the 1655:
And if I’d really go crazy the van der Klaauw Planetarium, preferably the “old” model:

Or maybe just a “classic” daily beater:
Or a very different heavyweight, though it is huge on my smaller wrist...

But probably am ending up with something completely different... 😁😁

Great list on my to do list is buy the Daytona 116500, if Apollo 13 50th has a white dial then find that one also and possibly Marinemaster SLA019.

I am pretty settled with my 3 but i am always interested in a hulk or a Seamaster.

I have:

apollo 11 50th
Apollo 8 dark side
Rolex gmt 16710

that said, I won’t pay the premium for the hulk so I guess I’ll stick with what I have or look At a blue Seamaster later in the year.

I'm looking for a 38.5mm 'Skyfall' Aqua Terra.

It seems to be quite the unicorn. A white dial Daytona seems an easier proposition!!
You should never have sold off yours.... Just go for the Spectre AT that I have 😉

Tried a good friends Gilt 1675 at the last GTG and now I am hooked 😀 I am out for it but he needs to find a better one before he sells it to me 🙁

Gorgeous watch. It won't be easy for your friend to find a nicer example. It aged very nicely and evenly.

Always difficult to choose but I would say:
- Railmaster 2914-3
- AP Royal Oak 39mm (I will not be too difficult with the sub ref)
- birth year Speedy (1981)

of course there will be a lot of watches of my collection to let go before acquiring just one of them 😁

1) Newer Moonwatch (my first Omega!)
2) Apollo 13 50th Anniversary
3) Birthyear Moonwatch (1992)

Not sure how realistic 2 and 3 are but 1 will happen very soon.

I have five Speemasters and 5 Breitlings (including the recent 806 1959 release). Strangely enough I have never had a Rolex. I'm considering a basic no date Submariner. Think that's a good addition to the collection, to have one?

Every year I have some targets. But this year I'm a bit in the dark. The zenith s. 58 is every year a target but there are very few acceptable pieces around. Omega moonphase could be interesting. I'm always on the hunt for black dial connies and seamasters. Maybe a 2505. Tritium sub? IWC ingenieur? Anyway, plans change during the year so we will see...

Premoon Speedy. I hadn’t begun to trust myself to do it properly until recently, and want to pull the trigger for my 40th this year. Just have to be patient for the right one.

(photo from Fratello)

The 2019 IWC (with infamous "Spitfire" reference) is still on my list for 2020, but I have not been be able to check one out live. IWC watches started to be issued to the RAF in 1949 when the Spitfire MK24 variant was still operational, so who knows if at least one pilot in 80 Squadron actually wore an IWC watch?😗

So far I have only had the chance to check out the chronograph, which I thought was a bit too thick for its overall case dimension (see comparison with my Speedy XI 45 below)

I‘m on the „list“ for a DJ 41 Blue or Rhodium Dial, white gold bezel and jubilee.
But this is more of a „just put me on the list“ kind of thing, no hopes to actually getting one as I have no standing with the Rolex AD.

What’s seriously on my wish list is a new cal. 321 Speedmaster in steel. Finger crossed for a release. Would sell half of my collection to fund one. I have too many Watches atm anyways and need to trim the herd.

Cheers,

Max

I am always slightly disappointed with Longines when I finally see one of their standout releases live...this was true for the 1945 Heritage, Big Eye and recently the "speckled" Heritage Military.

However, the new sector dial might finally make me pull the trigger...it looks heritage and modern at the same time and from the photo below (ABTW), just downright beautiful🥰
