Connie 2652 from 1953, bumper 354, black dial with rosegold markers and hands. Got its full package, including the original elephant leather bracelet in pretty decent condition.
Have not seen this finish before... Judging by the uneven character, I would say that it actually is patina Others on this forum might completely correct me on this one
I have been called a stacker, but I like to think of it as a study in Constellation lug design 1954 to 1968 Or viewed another way The Constellation Family And here are the Casebacks 2852 168.018 2782 14902 Apologies, I cannot find a caseback pic of the Manhattan and it's at Omega for service. Thanks for your interest
I'm not usually into patinated dials -but that one is exceptional I don't know whether to look at or eat it...
Nice to see this thread back up there, here´s a couple of my favourite 2015 Constellation additions Steel 2782 and 18KT 2652, both cal 354.
Some absolutely fantastic examples on this thread. I have only one, a run of the mill cal 561 crab leg piepan from circa 1961 . Cheers Ian
Nothing run-of-the-mill about your 168.005, as the "Dog Leg" lug has come to define the Era of Constellations and has become iconic. It's lovely!!
