I had considered it, but I had the feeling the seconds hand was a replacement.

Interesting, to me the other hands stood out for being a different colour than the rest of the watch. In any case, I did not bid as something felt off here.

The hour and minute hands are characteristic of UG. I would expect the seconds hand to look like the watch below.

Also... technically speaking, I don't think the watch in question is a pocket watch. It's more of a pendent watch.

Really no more sleepers in 2023. This very interesting pocket chrono just sold for GBP 2.500 excl. 33.3% fee. Never seen one before. Described as:
A stainless steel Universal Geneve open face stop watch, copper coloured dial, subsidiary seconds dials, square hour markers, top wind with suspension loop. The case won’t open at the back .can’t guarantee the watch is working. The following requested :
No not working winder has no tension.

According to the auction house the damage/dirt is on the dial...

I was watching this with tentatively optimistic hopes but was blown away with what it sold for. Really lovely and unusual pocket chrono though.

It started at GBP 1500 already. And - kind of surprising given that it was a general auction without any interesting other watches - all bids were room bids

Here's a gold Compax for the thread. I particularly dig the blue tachy scale and its silvered track

OH MY GOD!!😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
