What reference is that beautiful watch?

Thanks! It's the 39.5mm model, black dial with alligator / rubber OEM strap and deployment. Not sure of the exact ref. #.

42mm 2500 with orange bezel. A bit polarizing this watch. Reminds me of the Rolex GMT-Master ‘Root Beer’ - you either love it or hate it. First generation, so will always be collectible. Looks cool with black sleeves

So many fantastic pics in this thread!!! I can sure not compete with the high level here, but it motivates me to be creative in this days of quarantine:

I purchased a 45.5mm CrPO from an AD in 2018. I watched the salesperson take it out of the plastic and fill out the cards but because it was discontinued, they couldn’t sell it as new. It was a hell of a steal... I loved the watch but it always felt sort of big and I ended up selling it to help fund some other life things.

Since then, I’ve been kicking around getting one again and decided to try out the 42mm version. This fits more in line with my Bond and Skyfall obsession anyway. I have one of the 20mm rubber straps from the 2500 PO on order from an AD and I can’t wait to get back into the Boutique to get my bracelet sized. Until then, it’s living on mesh from Watch Gecko.

Great watch. I’m a fan of the 8500 movement. I’ve had 3 PO 8500’s and they’ve been amazingly accurate. I got the titanium PO in my avatar last September and it’s become my favourite watch by far. I rarely take it off. Enjoy yours!!

I personally think that Milanese bracelets suit the Seamasters. The one on your PO goes well with the black dial and bezel

All POs are gorgeous but the first gen is a tad bit more special. Love the orange bezel. Cant wait to get mine back from Omega service center.

I have the 43.5 "Oreo" GMT. I have the bracelet and the gator/rubber strap on deployant, but I would love an all-rubber option. Anyone know of a reference?

You could try the 98000435 black rubber strap from the last generation PO GMT which was also 43.5mm. No guarantee it would fit though as I haven't seen anyone try.

Mine the escape valve cover loosens periodically, can water get in if loose?

No. You would actually loosen that under water while decompressing after a saturation dive
