Omega Planet Ocean Orange Bezel: AD Discount in UK?

Hi. It’s been a while since I purchased a new Omega.

I want a new Planet Ocean orange bezel and orange rubber strap. I’m in the uk and would like to buy new from an authorised retailer or boutique.

What are the chances of getting a discount and if so what percentage should I be aiming for. For reference the new list price is £7500 for orange (unfortunately more expensive than the other colour options)

Thanks
David

Your best bet is an AD, no chance to get a discount at an OB, they may throw in a strap or something.

Three new speedies in less than a year from the same OB. No discounts. But one is the Snoopy 50, and the other two were new releases in 2024.

These are plentiful at ADs so I anticipate that you should be able to get a decent discount.

I purchased a seamaster (nodate black dial with mesh strap) from Goldsmiths yesterday. It was listed for 6100 but when I asked her what was the best price they could do. She went away and came back with 5500. All I had to do was ask.

She did say that they can only apply discount if buying outright as they cant discount if using their finance package

I would say for that model at an AD like WOS, Berry's etc 10-15% should be fairly easy to do but you should be prepared to buy then and there of they give you a number that works, also don't be afraid to call around to gauge pricing from other branches all AD's are listed on the Omega website so you should be able to get a good deal with a bit of leg work.

Just to let you know, that in Poland there is no room for negotiations in AD currently.
