If anyone sees a 168.027 or even a .029 with a grey dial in very good condition, please post it here and tag me! Would really appreciate any help I can get on the hunt. Thanks

On a 6.5" wrist and also purchased from Closer (last year). No 'T's on the dial!
So what’s the reasoning for 'T's on the dial or not?

Club joined! 😀

I just love it. And the combination of the linen/frozen dial and the fluted bezel especially, it just gives the watch a really distinctive, jewel-like look that screams vintage quality.

Only problem is that all of my other light-sunburst-dial watches with plain bezels seem dull now...

picked up a gold c-case a little while back, still feeling unsure how i feel about gold cap... the wear on the lugs is actually really not that apparent in person, but part of me wants to find a better case.

I can't stop myself with these c-cases got to sort a 1021 movement and a hummer now.

Does the globemaster count...

The trouble with C cases (and I’m a late convert) is once you discover them, it’s impossible to undiscover them. So, apart from my earlier posts in this thread, I’ve acquired a hummer from @Toishome ……

…. and started accumulating Longines and other C case styles

I love C-cases. And linen dials. And fluted bezels. But I hate date windows. So I don't know what to do. I have been looking to add a C-cased constellation to my collection but goddamn those date windows! 😡 I don't know if love is stronger than hate. Maybe I should just keep buying Cosmics...

@Nupero there are no-date C-Cased Constellation's if you're open minded 😀

Oh, okay. New to me! Ref numbers? And why do I have to be open minded? Are these ladies' models or what? 😁

They are just a bit small 😁

I remember 568.001 but don’t remember the no-date version

Shame they didn’t do any 551 cal. C-Case’s

Maybe you could swap the dial for one from another Constellation model, if you could find one of the right size without a date window..

The date would be changing underneath but you wouldn't need to see it.. 😁😁

I couldn't help myself and got the brushed dial 168.029 from Closer, the 308** serial from 1970 and the general good condition of the watch made me want to believe the brushed dial could've been original as well, it doesn't have any signs of water intrusion inside or outside, movement is beautiful, so maybe it was an original last batch dial that was also sold as spare parts

I had a sunburst 168.029 from the 14K gold watch with the diamonds that I shared, @noless got me another special 168.029 as well that also has a sunburst dial, in a way this 168.029 completes the dial type checkboxes as well, as long as there's no matte or enamel dial 168.029 out there

Interestingly I have no OM dials yet 😀 For some reason they marked some dials with OM, and didn't mark most of them, even though most solid gold watches have gold dials as well, there are many 18K OMdials on eBay lately, for even as low as 200 euros, but seems petty to buy one, and most have bad photos and small issues as well

Came across this 18K C-Cased Constellation on eBay. I don't know anything about the C-Cased Constellations, so posting this is not any way an endorsement of condition or quality. I just figured someone here might be interested or know more and could share.

Listing states that it will come with box and papers as well.

Movement shot for anyone who is curious:

And I have no affiliation what so ever with the seller or listing, came across it when I was researching 18K Seamaster 166.032's and figured someone here may appreciate it.
