Seconds hand has changed, crown is wrong as well, but other than that, I found the case "decent" - definitely seen worse - the caseback scratches are a bummer

I wanted to bid too, but at the current price, it's at "might as well not" levels for me

so I’m stuck going round in circles, picked up a day-date constellation , case looked ok rather dirty and crystal very scratched ,dial didn’t really pay much attention and actually thought it was damaged also because the crystal had so many scratches.
My plan was to sell the movement and clean up the case , polish or replace the crystal and look at getting a replacement crown to use a complete 751 movement with beautiful solid gold dial,
Now the issue is after spending about an hour polishing the crystal and cleaning the case, and the fact the dial is actually perfect I now don’t know what I like or should do , do I keep it original or make a what I think would be a Frankenstein watch , what are your thoughts gold or silver

Not sure what you are thinking. You have 2 nice watches and want to make 2 Frankens?

No no one watch with a spare movement with no case, the gold dial has no case I was wondering what to do keep the silver one original how I purchased it or put the gold on in that case.

Your gold one actually has a broken star - it doesn't seem to have the tip unless the photo was processed. I'd re-sell the 18K dial + movement and move on while winning
