That’s a linen dial

 

Thanks, think it is correct, but only found very few similar dials, it has age and spiderweb cracks, hardly visible

 

Just got my new 1968 Cal. 751 Constellation back from the watchmaker. After I purchased it I located a English day and date wheel set, end pieces and a used bracelet. Here is the link for the bracelet search.

Wow, looks like a totally different dial, I guess that’s what threw me. Well, double nice then.

 

The spiderwebbing is on the dial and not the crystal? What causes that?

 

I can't speak directly for this watch but it's the materials used: the paints and lacquers. Spidering is usually the lacquer cracking due to heat and possibly light exposure.

Long time lurker, just getting back into things. The C-Case is my favorite Omega, and I wanted to add another one to the collection.

Scouring Ebay on my phone, and I found the below from Closer.

I was a little trigger happy, and when I looked at the pics on my desktop now I noticed the text didn't pass the MOY test. What do you guys think? Is this a redial?

I think everything else looks pretty good, but I not too well versed on these things.

If a redial, I am going to contact the seller.

If I posted this in the wrong area, I can remove it and post in the correct area.

There is something about the lettering under OMEGA that doesn't look right. I would like a straight on shot or the hands out of the way. I know this seller will give you a straight answer if you ask a direct question.

Thank you, it’s gold capped, the reference is the regular 168.027. I’ll also note that mine is the only one in rose gold that I’ve ever seen for sale since I got it in 2015
