For me, this would be a possibility to consider, provided the 14060 would have been a tritium one... So in this case, I would personally stick to the Speedy and continue the search for a Tritium (i.e. early 90s) 14060 instead.

With tritium a lot have overpolished cases (if I remember correctly since my last search).

Quite true, unfortunately... so the hunt for a nice one might take some more time. 😉

Your speedy looks awesome and I would not trade unless that 14060 got patina

By the way, isn't that a service dial on the 14060 that is in the balance ("Swiss" only)?

If that is indeed the case, then I would certainly NOT consider a trade anyway.

How much is the 14060 atm?

No. They used the "Swiss" dial for one year, 1999. It was the transition between Tritium and Super Luminova. It is still Super Luminova but the label was in transition as the company that makes the product was being sold.(or something like that.) All that to say, the dial is correct.

Who are you trading with? A dealer?

Myself I would have chosen that Speedy over the Rolex all days in the week

Yes it is a dealer. They were offering me a fair amount for the Speedy. Like I said I am keeping what I have.

There's a reason a dealer wants the Speedmaster. 14060s are much easier to come by in comparison to a 145.022-69 with nice patina..

Deal doesn't sound good. This Ref is quite common.
