I always worry about bidding on items from Japan as I hear customs fees can be a bit high. Is there a good calculator or easier method than pouring through the legalese of the CBP docs?
There are customs calculators but obviously it depends what country you’re in. There certainly used to be a calculator that took import country into account.
I'm in the US, so anything under $800 is free.
This one is going off later today, its over a grand now due to the condition and BoR bracelet so definitely one of the higher prices obtained for a Seamaster DeVille but there aren’t many better examples.

Well when you get it, put it on a nice strap, take some really good photos of it and show us how it looks in an arrival thread. Also I might need to borrow those photos for an article at some point as that model DeVille is one of my favorites.

Are you recommending this piece? ("...Not for Enquiries") If so, you will need to argue very persuasively I think. Chacun à son goût as they say, but I doubt if many OFers would have the goût for this one, honestly.
