Agreed, steel tends to be my preference over gold cap and I particularly like the non luminous variants just as it’s one less thing to worry about long term and during services. It’s a nice clean example too and for $629 it’s an absolute bargain, they never go that low.

Is it considered bad form to buy your own recommendations? I posted it here, so somebody else would pick it up, before I buy another watch that I don't need. But at $572 I could no longer resist 🤦.

It's a very fine watch. The thin black hands add to the elegance IMO. I wish it was larger than 33mm.

I’ve done exactly that repeatedly… put a watch here then got high on my own supply. My Seamaster Piepan 2627 was one of those, accidentally bid $50k on it too.

On eBay UK:
My 1967 Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 'Ed White'
This is the 2nd time you have been told that it is against forum rules to push your own auction. Last time the post was deleted. I suspect this time it might be your membership that is deleted if you're not lucky :whipped:

The loom at the 7hr marker looks a bit like someone rolled a piece of gum and stuck it haphazardly to the dial.

I didn't actually receive any notification, I just assumed the original post had failed to post properly. Apologies, I didn't realise this thread was only for posting other auctions.

Vintage Calibre 711 ultra-thin DeVille reference 165.008 in steel, nice overall condition with some minor marks on the case, good price for one of these ultra-thins and a more interesting watch than most in the price range.

the link is now showing a different seamaster deville with slightly different specs interestingly enough even though our fellow forum member purchased the one you sent

eBay try’s to show something their algorithm thinks is similar to the one that was sold. That’s another reason it’s good to have images in posts so you can see what was actually recommended.

NOTE: I’m not recommending the one below just using as an illustration for the previous poster.

BIN £695 or offer with a cal 564 movement.

It’s a UK sale (so no tax here in the UK) but clearly needs a service.

I think that at that price (or offer) it may be worth looking at.

Total trash photos lol, actually doesn’t look bad though, if you get it cheap it’s worth the lucky dip as the bracelet looks ok as does the rest that you can see.

Oh wow, these photos are 🤮.
It don't understand people trying to sell a $1000 watch with 3 blurry photos 😕.
It looks like some people are bidding though.

Maybe they want to hide something?

You might be right, but some people are genuinely bad at taking photos haha. I'd ask for more photos, hoping for better ones.
