This Calibre 712 gold-capped ultra thin Constellation Chronometer has been up for a while, the buy it now at $980 is slightly more than I’d like to pay but not that much more, might be worth making an offer to the seller if it interests you as its a nice watch and an interesting reference.

So, it was already on my eBay watch list; you just tipped me over the edge. It will be mine in about a week... Thanks!
Once again, thanks to Ash and others who spend their time finding these gems for us! This arrived today, even better on the wrist than the good photos in the listing... very happy!

It looked like that listing came with a vintage Omega buckle. Was it included in the sale as well?

Gone at $426… not bad at all with bracelet
The seller said that he is an original owner. He brought it 60 years ago. The watch needs services since there is an issue with the date.

Good find but kind of a sad story, the black spot on the bezel is probably dirt instead of rust and the SWISS MADE smudge is probably on the crystal instead of the dial - he should've started the auction from $1

Yep, buckle included, and in good nick. I've always had good service (and I think good value) from that particular eBay seller.

What region do you expect this to sell at?
A nicer one sold recently for very little, C-Cases just don’t have as many fans as other case shapes, I’d be looking to get it under $500 if possible

I appreciate that it may be different in other countries but here in the UK 500 usd won’t even come close - on eBay UK or elsewhere.

You might just find one at around that price (with free postage) from one of the Japanese sellers but even there, you’ll have to factor in import duty, a probable service and the condition.

(PS If I’ve got it wrong and anyone reading this wants to offer me a nice c case Connie for $500, please pm me)

There was a dauphine hand grey dial that went just under $500 in near mint condition a couple months back, I tried to find it but without much luck, there was also this nice Seamaster sparkle non chronometer recently so they do slip through at reasonable prices if you’re patient:

Anyone here pick that up for $578?
I ended up getting outbid, but I am brand new to this forum and wanted to shout everyone out for the work of spotting these. This is much better than me blindly poking around the internet 😀.
