Is that who it is?

I had John Mayer in mind, but after googling Evan Peters they both look very similar.
Not that it matters,

The information I have is that Evan Peters was in Mare of Nighttown. That led me to the answer MARE to your clue. If I knew how to do a Google image search, I might have got the right guy.
