I thought @TasMike might have nailed that one.
I went through all members, in the search field, beginning with ‘art’ and still didn’t see it!

And I foolishly thought that one might be a challenge. You lot are getting so good at this, it is getting tougher and tougher to challenge you!

Haha.. Good one. I'll take a back seat with my friend.

They’re showing reruns of the old televised series over here, at the moment. Surprising how many big names appeared in more than one episode. Some of the stories are very clever in the way they unfold.
It shows how good a writer Roald Dahl was.

Yep, I guess it was a bit obscure.

Calling @ahartfie......................

LOL! This is what I get for being busy.

I always used to wonder why my grandparents had a painting of old cars in their dining room. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I realized the cars were current when the painting was made.

According to my grandfather, his parents were patrons of the arts in Berlin and they got this work after helping support the artist Lesser Ury. It’s called Under The Lindens In The Tiergarten and according to Wikipedia he made a whole bunch of them.

You’re looking for the title of a series of books written by the author in the photo that @JimInOz posted.
It was televised in the late 1970’s, and sold to about 70 countries, so there’s a good chance it was shown in Canada.

I’ll let Jim do the honours if it doesn’t ring any bells.

I just checked Wikipedia for titles he wrote. Count me amongst the great unwashed. Never heard of any of those titles.

From the rebus clues, the pictures depict:

Tails / OV / <the> / UN / Ex / Peck / Ted

Thus: Tales of the Unexpected.

Tim Allen = TIM
Richard Burton = BURTON
Moonscape = NIGHT
Evan Peters = MARE of Nighttown
Bee = BE
Fore = FORE
Christopher Rock = CHRIST
Church = MAS

Tim Burton’s the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Best I can do!

Well solved @Canuck

Evan Peters
Is that who it is?

I had John Mayer in mind, but after googling Evan Peters they both look very similar.
Not that it matters,
