Well, let’s start with the scratch. Think MARK, the valley, DELL. You take it from there. A location prominent in the news.

Mar a Lago?
I had Mark Dell Lego in my head.

Mar-a-Lago is it. Indon’t know why I thought it was Mar DEL Lago.

Ok, time to kick this thread back to the top! One of the photos deserves credit to @Skrotis (hope it's ok that I used your work for this REBUS).
Hints: An easy one, considering recent events. A person.

I've been swamped with work...I'll make an effort to submit something a bit more imaginative shortly!
A bit late with this one, but it doesn’t look as if anyone’s responded.

This one might be a hint to the previous submission...(again, credit to @Skrotis...this is a watch related {because, hey...this is a watch community forum!} photo from a FS post years ago).

Hint: An exclamation.

And farewell to another Don... Trump

I remember someone once purchased a scrabble rebus board for us as kids. We didn't have a clue how to play it, even with the instructions.

I might see if I can find it.

I am noticing that there are a lot of threads on this board that are really interesting.

An invention... archaic

According to an article I was reading, this invention is considered to be the most important of the last 1000 years, for having ushered in the period of modern human history, and improving the general quality of life.

What is it, and who invented it?
